Fae Dragon Prop Set Preliminary Concepts
So I have really enjoyed getting back into concepting, I had been zoning in on 3d so much I forgot about just making designs for the funzies :) So I've decided to fix up the 2D section of my portfolio by adding concepts for a full set of props designed around this little fellow:
I LOVE the design choices made for this guy and I really want to bring that color scheme and complexity to some neat props.
Here is what I worked on this morning, still rough but Ill go back later and clean them up : )
Post Question: If you could choose a non playable race in WoW to design a set of items for, what would it be?
Cheers!

Corehound Chest Concept
After debating what sort of prop set I wanted to start modeling next, I decided it would be fun to just go for a Corehound themed set. Here is the first concept I painted up yesterday, It started as a quick little concept in my sketchbook and then I scanned it and proceeded to bring it in to Photoshop.
I think today I'm going to be focusing on rendering out all the concepts before I go on to recreating them in 3D.
So my question of the day is, If you could make a WoW themed prop set, what character would it be based on?
Cheers!

August Overview
I've nearly filled up my sketchbook this month, here are all the sketches I did this month that I feel are worth sharing. :) I'm proud of myself for sticking to trying to draw at least once a day even if I'm feeling out of it. Its been especially good for my self confidence and my control, two things that could never hurt to be improved.
What was your favorite thing that you did this month?
Cheers!

Draenei Barrel (Updated)
Hi Everyone just a quick update on the barrel I have been working on .
I did some major adjustments on it today based on the critiques I received from friends and online : )
The main things I heard from my peers was that it needed
-More Color
-More ambient occlusion
-More Depth
-Contrast Gradients
and
With those critiques in mind here is the most current version of the texture
Cheers!
