January Speed Paints

I havnt been updating my blog as much, but its not because I havnt been producing any art. Its more like I've been working my tooshy off doing a ton of freelance to pay the bills. : ) Sometimes I have an extra two seconds to do some personal art. Below are a few I did recently, plus a concept I made for a client that he gave the OK to post online. Hoping to post some more 3d work up here soon if time allows!

Bacon Bits Painting

Another product of a conversation I had with a friend, whilst nerding about how cute pigletts are. He said I should try designing a new pig design for Wow. : ) and Thus Bacon Bits was born.

" Hamerion was once a powerful Warlock, until one fateful day he encountered an equally powerful mage, who polymorphed him into a pig, forever. Now dubbed "Bacon Bits" he travels Azeroth searching for the mage that screwed him over. if only someone would dispell him. "

Untamed Hatching Pet Redesign

Hello Everyone!

A friend of mine was complaining about how his untamed hatchling pet didnt have the same cute proportions his other newer pets had, so I thought it would be fun to design a more cute child version of the untamed hatchling. : ) Went for a brighter color and smoother skin to show he is still a youngling, in case someone is wondering why he isnt black.

Have a couple process pics below : D

If you could choose one classic pet to be redesigned as a smaller cuter version who would you choose?

Cheers!

Crimson Speed Paints

I was listening to C418's full and complete Minecraft Alpha Album while painting these, if you haven't listened to this version it is a must hear. Each track is perfect music for painting, it has this ability to make you feel like you are on your own adventure through different lands. Pretty fitting music for the platform it was created for. Buy the full album here for just 7$ !  https://c418.bandcamp.com/album/minecraft-volume-beta

And heres a little sketch from yesterday, I swear if someone gave me money to draw flowy things all day, Id do it in a hearbeat haha.

Cheers!

Corehound Chest Concept

After debating what sort of prop set I wanted to start modeling next, I decided it would be fun to just go for a Corehound themed set. Here is the first concept I painted up yesterday, It started as a quick little concept in my sketchbook and then I scanned it and proceeded to bring it in to Photoshop.

I think today I'm going to be focusing on rendering out all the concepts before I go on to recreating them in 3D.

So my question of the day is, If you could make a WoW themed prop set, what character would it be based on?

Cheers!

Forest 30 min speed paint

30 Min Speed Paint

I want to get comfortable with painting landscapes quickly, so I will more then likely do a lot of more of these if time permit, luckily  they are "speed" paints for a reason : p

I want to start asking questions at the end of blog posts, to try to be more engaging. My question is, if you could live anywhere in nature where would it be?

Cheers!
